The ‘Emile’ is a very smart looking Mid Century Bookcase made by renowned British Maker Herbert E. Gibbs as marked on the reverse. This could work as either a bookcase in a stylish retro lounge or apartment; or perhaps an eye catching drinks cabinet for glassware.

I particularly love the black glass sliding doors which are an unusual feature and contrast so nicely against an iconic teak frame having been restored back to it’s former natural wood glory. Not forgetting the metal base which again is a rare feature and gives this piece an amazing industrial look.

Please note the shelves are removable and being original currently match the teak exterior, however you can also have the option of glazed shelving if required so please just ask for more info!

In great condition but please also take a good look at the photographs to see examples of any wear, if any!

Dimensions are approximately as follows...

Height 89cm

Width 91.5cm

Depth 27.5cm
