The ‘George’ is good and strong and has lasted the test of time. This is a beautiful example of an old solid oak Chest of drawers with brass detailing and a stunning aged patina. 
Dating front the Georgian Era, circa 1790, you can see the age of this piece with dovetail joints, solid wood drawer frames, original handles, aged authentic patina and the shaped detailing on the legs which is typically very Georgian in style. 
In great condition with characterful wear to be expected for the age of this piece, this has been restored carefully back to its former beauty but workout taking away any of the well earned character. For me the knocks and bumps,  remind me of the era's this chest of drawers has survived through and all add to its appeal. There are some areas where trim is missing but this doesnt notice and I felt replacing this would ruin the authenticity of the piece so have left as it is. The drawers run smoothly and this stands solid, it is also very heavy; each drawer has been cleaned up and oiled inside including the reverse constructed of solid pine planks. 
This is a stunning antique piece, would look beautiful in a country home and remain a family heirloom of the future.

Delivery

We offer free delivery on small items, such as artwork. Smaller furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £30 and all larger furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £60 per item.

When an order has been placed, I will contact a courier company within 24 hours to book in a collection. At that point your details will be passed on so the delivery driver can make contact with you at a later date to arrange a suitable delivery date with you.

We advise a usual delivery time of between 1  and 2 weeks, however this can vary a little and can sometimes take longer depending on your location. 

Return policy

We offer the option to return your item for a full refund within14 days, however please note that any delivery costs incurred including return delivery will not be refunded, also consider the item will need to be sent back with the original courier in the original packaging and inspected for any damage before a refund can be issued.
