The Poppy is an antique Oak Victorian Stool, circa 1880 with a period look. It is well proportioned, dating from the late nineteenth century with tall tapered legs and x-stretcher.
This piece has some beautiful patina and wear retaining the old paintwork in places adding to the rustic and authentic chippy look, a patina like this just exists with time and cannot be recreated.
Good solid condition, but shows signs of wear which is just how it should be.
Possibly used as a workers Stool or milking Stool back in it's day and now would work so beautifully in a cosy cottage home as extra seating, a side table or as a plant stand perhaps.

We offer free delivery on small items, such as artwork. Smaller furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £30 and all larger furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £60 per item.
When an order has been placed, I will contact a courier company within 24 hours to book in a collection. At that point your details will be passed on so the delivery driver can make contact with you at a later date to arrange a suitable delivery date with you.
We advise a usual delivery time of between 1 and 2 weeks, however this can vary a little and can sometimes take longer depending on your location.

We offer the option to return your item for a full refund within14 days, however please note that any delivery costs incurred including return delivery will not be refunded, also consider the item will need to be sent back with the original courier in the original packaging and inspected for any damage before a refund can be issued.
