Meet Ralph, he’s a handsome devil dressed in navy blue, and very much holding his own as a vintage drinks cabinet with a contemporary twist, ooo I say!
Dating from somewhere around the 1930’s, Ralph features a fine oak frame with glass panels on all sides and really attractive beaded details to the front. The design is quirky and one I’ve never seen before so there’s a strong chance this is the only one of its time and it was likely made by an independent maker.
I decided to replace the original glass panels with brand new reeded glass in keeping with the period, not only has this added a lot more sass, it has also strengthened the cabinet making it more practical for everyday use; I also like the fact that the reeded panels hide all your stuff, where you can only just see what is lurking behind the doors… probably gin or baileys if you are anything like myself,
Thats said, this would be ideal used for a vintage glass collection, and I can also imagine it placed in an extremely posh bathroom for lotions, potions and linen.
I have painted the frame in deep and dark navy blue eggshell paint and added a blue mirrored panel to the back of the cabinet which reflects really nicely thought the glass.
This is in good vintage condition, however please expect a few signs of characterful wear as Ralph has life experience, but this adds to his vibrant personality!

We offer free delivery on small items, such as artwork. Smaller furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £30 and all larger furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £60 per item.
When an order has been placed, I will contact a courier company within 24 hours to book in a collection. At that point your details will be passed on so the delivery driver can make contact with you at a later date to arrange a suitable delivery date with you.
We advise a usual delivery time of between 1 and 2 weeks, however this can vary a little and can sometimes take longer depending on your location.

We offer the option to return your item for a full refund within14 days, however please note that any delivery costs incurred including return delivery will not be refunded, also consider the item will need to be sent back with the original courier in the original packaging and inspected for any damage before a refund can be issued.
